Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
I reckon Barca would be ok. The Spanish generally seem to be more relaxed than say the French or Belgians. But like I said, I certainly don’t blame fans for chancing their luck.

Met Police (West Ham) Twitter - French Police warning that any west ham fans attempting to enter the home end could be fined or arrested (even if they bought the ticket directly from Lyon).

They have no issues with supporters watching the game in the city's bars.

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
Ernie there were thousands of West Ham fans in the home sections in Seville and many were right next to the away section

OTB they only gave us the bare minimum, for a side that only fills out two thirds of their stadium, knowing that we'd take shed loads out there you'd have thought the French OB would've wanted us inside the stadium where they could police us rather than the risk of it kicking off either in the home sections of the ground or Lyon itself

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
Ern - I worked ok out in Seville. If I was going to Lyon the only chance I’d have had of getting in would be the home end. You can’t blame people for trying their luck that way.

Didn’t help people on twitter saying got tickets this block then ffs send a message to that prick Sheldon

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
Lyon have starting sending emails out to those suspected of being WH supporters who bought a home end ticket to tell them their tickets have been cancelled and refunds will be issued.

A 50 Euro note not quite hidden behind your ticket when you hand it to the officials to verify will work wonders.

They said the same about Seville but they never stopped people.

Beret, string of onions, a shit bike, stripey shirt, gnawing on a lump of raw horse meat. You'll stroll in. No drama.

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
An Everton fan on instagram said that when they went there in 2018 the police rounded them all up and kept them in the car park until after the game. Then put them on buses straight to the airport even though some wasn’t flying home that night. Not looking good ffs.

If you get asked where you live just say Agincourt…. You’ll be fine…

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
Well if this is the case and people are fined or arrested West Ham will have a monumental fuck up on their hands. Allowing their partners I think P1 it was, to sell tickets in the home end.

Letting folk buy them and letting folk use them are two completely different things though.

Re: Lyon say "non" to WHU with home tickets
Don't even need a VPN to book tickets now so they've hardly tried clamping down on English buying them have they.
